Internet Marketing Tips - Suggestions For Better Ads

Advertising is the name of the game. The greatest product in the world isn't going to make a dime if you don't promote it. There is a myth going around that just putting up a web page will bring you tons of visitors. Well, whoever started it is probably making a killing in the real estate business selling land just off the Jersey coast. Truth is, with all the web pages out there, unless you actively promote, or what we refer to as marketing, you're not going to get anywhere. This article is going to share some of my best tips for writing better ads. I have no doubt that they will come in quite handy.

Tip number one...facts tell, stories sell. Nobody wants to be bored to death with a bunch of facts about the product. They want to know what it's going to do for them. And there is no better way to do this than by telling them your own experience with the product itself. Certainly if you're selling it, whether as an affiliate marketer or as your own product, you have used it, right? Well, then tell your prospects in your ads how great the product is. Tell them how it performed for you and how much your life has changed since using it.

Tip number two...let them know what's in it for them. This is a world where everybody wants to know what's in it for them. If you don't give them an incentive to want to buy the product, they won't. And there is no better way to do that than to point out all the wonderful benefits that they're going to get out of the product once they start using it. List as many benefits as you can. The more you can show, the greater the chance you have of closing the sale.

Tip number three...make them an offer that they can't refuse. Now, I realize that if you're selling an affiliate product, you can't do anything about the price. That's set in stone. But there is no reason why you can't offer a bonus of your own. What I do with one of the affiliate products that I promote is offer one week of mentoring to go along with it. Now THAT is an offer that's hard to pass up.

Follow these three basic suggestions and you'll find that your ads work a lot better than they do now.

Internet Marketing Tips - Building That King Sized List

The money is in the list. I know you've heard it a zillion times before. There is a reason why. It's true. The money really IS in the list. It wasn't until I started building mine that I really saw success on the Internet. But okay, you're not sure where to begin. How DO you build that killer list? Is it as easy as people say it is? Well, it's really not all that hard if you know what you're doing. In this article, I'm going to share with you a simple system for building your list that should get you up and running in no time at all.

Step one is to start churning out some articles on the subject your business is about. In other words, if you're selling a natural acne cure, write some articles on the subject of acne, what causes it, how it's treated and so on. At the end of the article, in your resource box, direct the reader to where they can get a free report on the subject of natural acne cures.

Step two is to create that report. You want to give them as much info in it as they can in order to make an informed decision on what course of treatment they want to take. Hopefully, they'll decide to choose the course of treatment that you recommend...your natural cure. In the report, you'll include a link on how to get that natural cure.

Step three is how you actually build your list. That happens when people subscribe to get the report along with a newsletter that you're going to setup in order to give them more information. Signing up with a service like Aweber, you simply build a squeeze page with an opt in form and instruct the prospect to fill in their name and email address in order to get the free report and the newsletter. Reassure them that their info will not be shared with anybody and that you will never spam them. They will have to opt in to get this report and verify their email before they receive it. Aweber will take care of all of this.

That's all there is to it. Eventually, you will have a list of hundreds if not thousands of people. And it won't take you much work at all.

Building that king sized list isn't really that hard. You just have to know how to go about doing it.
